In England and Wales, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the Responsible Person legally responsible for fire safety. That is the employer, owner, landlord, occupier or anyone else with control of the premises. Their duties include carrying out a fire risk assessment, which since October 2023 must be recorded in full, and reviewing it regularly. Equivalent duties apply elsewhere in the UK, and if you are not sure where you stand you can contact us to talk it through.

Yes. All of our Fire Risk Assessors hold either a Level 3 or Level 4 FRA qualification, and we dispatch the relevant person based on the complexity of the building. Our consultancy holds the Fire Door Inspector certification, and our entire team hold Health and Safety and Risk Assessment qualifications, with ongoing CPD training so we remain abreast of legislative changes. We also maintain professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Our fire safety consultants have access to Fire Risk Assessors nationwide. We are based in Birmingham, West Midlands and have direct access to 12 Fire Risk Assessors. We also have a team of 10 Fire Door Inspectors, and access to an extensive network of certified Door Inspectors in and around the Birmingham area, ensuring thorough evaluations for your peace of mind.
